While we prefer Agile by far, it can make sense to do an initial project using the Waterfall process first. We know Agile can be much more efficient, but it does have its pitfalls as well.

Agile is delivery driven, meaning that “something like what we want” will be delivered when we want it and within budget (this is how the term ‘beta’ started creeping in everywhere). Along the way, minds and scope can change and evolve without issue because being able to deliver “something like what is wanted” drives project decisions.

This has been a long time coming. left-click advanced is pleased to announce that on Saturday, March 23rd, Commerce Point of Sale (POS) was released on Drupal.org. Commerce POS is a point of sale interface for the Drupal Commerce suite of modules. It is the (only slightly better named) successor to the UberPOS module, which did the same thing for Ubercart.

Redmine has turned out to be a great Project Management tool for us. It is free and has an active development community. Turning this email feature on was very easy. I followed the instructions here. I chose the IMAP option as it seemed the easiest route and works great.
